Gunner and his surgery

This is actually old news. But since I'm a new blogger, I wanted to share photos. Gunner had to be rushed to the hospital to have an emergency surgery. 2 weeks after he had his tonsils and adnoids out, an artery in his throat started bleeding very bad and quickly. I rushed him to the hospital, praying out loud all of the way. He was so bad that we were praying that he would even make it to the hospital. Our prayers were heard and the artery temporarily clotted until he could be rushed into surgery. It was quite the fright and it was a night that neither Jason, Gunner, or I will ever forget. They took care of him and now he's doing just fine! We love you Gunner!

King of the World!!!

Hunter thought he was on top of the world when he got to ride a roller coaster at the county fair all by himself. He was so proud.

Hunter's Cast

Hunter fractured his leg after he jumped off of Aunt Jamie's table. He got a cast in November '07. This is Hunter showing his true personality-Silly-while his preschool class signed his cast.

Poor Hunter. In January, he was running in his preschool classroom when he tripped and fell. He hit his eye on the corner of a table. It looked pretty bad for a couple of weeks. He still has a sore, but he is one tough kid!

We had so much fun going to the Wildlife World Zoo last October. The kids had fun in the petting zoo. All of the animals kept eating Jacey's pants. It was pretty funny!

I got my first antelope last year (September 07). I was able to hunt with my Dad. We both got one. It was so much fun! Jason came along to help too. This was Jason's anniversary present to me-a guided antelope hunt.

Parker(left) and his cousin Jadon(right) were in the Pinewood derby. Jason helped Parker with his car. They both did well and get to compete in the district Pinewood derby contest on March 1st. Parker just turned 8 yesterday and will be baptized on March 1st. He is so excited. He got his first bow for his birthday! Happy days!
